Feedback from FSU Mentees

"My experience with MentorNet was WONDERFUL. It connected me with a professor at Rochester University whom has been in academia for 20 years. He gave me detailed information that proved very valuable in the process of job searching. He also became a detailed and critical reviewer of my entire portfolio with a level of involvement higher than any other faculty member at FSU. I could not be happier given the level of feedback and help I received. I have been recommending it to all my fellow students."

"The program allows students to find a mentor with a matching background. My mentor successfully dealt with many of the challenges that I face today. Not only did he respond to my questions fast, but with great accuracy and detail as well. Those insights are priceless. I would really love to continue the membership, and would definitely recommend it to fellow students. Thank you for bringing this valuable program to us."

"During the past 3 months I've been using the MentorNet program on a regular basis. My experience participating in this program has been very positive and enriching. As a prospective college professor I am interested in the duties, responsibilities, and tasks that are related to academia. MentorNet, specifically my Mentor, is helping me in obtaining the necessary tools to be successful in my career as an academician. I strongly recommend the program to my peers and colleagues."
