Although providing handbooks with departmental information and academic requirements for graduate students has been the general practice at FSU, there has been no formal departmental graduate student handbook policy. However, on October 2, 2006, the Graduate Policy Committee (GPC) approved a graduate student handbook (electronic or hardcopy) requirement for all academic departments/programs. As a result, the departmental graduate student handbooks will be examined as part of the GPC's Quality Enhancement Reviews.
On this webpage are beneficial handbook topics and example electronic FSU handbooks that graduate students have found especially helpful. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Sarah Earley at searley@fsu.edu or 644-3501.
