The Florida State University offers 112 masters degree programs, 27 specialist and advanced master's degree programs and 73 doctoral degree programs. Professional degrees are also offered in Law and Medicine.
A variety of opportunities are available for students interested in advanced degrees including joint degree programs which provide students the opportunity to earn graduate degrees from two academic programs concurrently; dual degree programs which are two degrees earned simultaneously when a student is accepted by both departments/programs and is approved by appropriate deans and the Dean of Graduate Studies; graduate certificate programs designed to allow students to take courses in an area of specialization, enhancing their academic and professional experience; and combined bachelors/masters degree programs which provide academically talented students an opportunity to complete a bachelors and a masters degree in a shorter time span.
